Zach participated in his first jogathon this year at SCS. Along with the rest of the elementary kids, he trained and prepared a couple of months in advance for the big day, along with raising money for each lap he ran! In the end, Z ran 21 laps (close to 3 miles, I think) and raised over $500 for the school (thanks again to all of his sponsors). He ended up finishing second in his class in fundraising and received passes to the Seattle Science Center for his efforts - great job, Bud!
The girls participated along with Zach -- not what I had originally intended, but there was no way the girls weren't going to run once they saw all of their friends running. A parent snapped a ton of pictured during the event and we were able to download the ones we wanted. Enjoy!
