Lego Land!!!
Zach rode Technic Coaster with me - wow! He wasn't really sure what to expect, and even though it was not what he expected, he was very brave and we went on Coastersaurus at the end of the day even. Day 2 included no roller coasters...which suited us both fine.
Zach was determined to purchase a Ninjago lego set while we were at Lego Land. Once it was purchased (early in the day), Zach was ready to go back to the hotel and put it together - I got him to last until the afternoon before returning!
Star Wars miniland was the coolest part of Lego Land...in my honest opinion....
Note that Zach is carrying the lego set (out of the bag) in these pictures. Yes, Lego Land has the option of package pickup at the end of the day, but there was no parting Zach with his legos...
Hero Factory - a cool place to build Bionicles.
At the Lego Club House - Zach participated in a demonstration on scaling lego models (a trick that the Lego master builders use to build the crazy models around the park).
Driving at the Junior Driving School
At Build and Test: a place where kids make cars out of Legos and then race them against other kids' models. Zach won a couple of times!
Back at the hotel, building the sets (thanks Grandma Marva and Gram/Papa - your donations were used very wisely!!).
Finally, at dinner - the largest kids bowl of pasta on the planet!
